Greetings Everyone!

We have a great meeting planned for this Tuesday. We’ll be in the downstairs meeting room at 7pm.

On the agenda:

1. Stephen Kosacz will give us the latest on the KEYS area weatherization grant.

2. Jeff Beaudoin from the Town of York Energy Steering Committee will talk about the permit fee for using the recycling center.

3. Paul MacGowan will give a brief update on the exciting things happening with partnering with the York business community.

4. Congratulations to Victoria Simon on reaching an agreement with the York Independent to write a regular column on green issues. Look for it in upcoming issues!

5. Finally, Fred Greenhalgh from Revision Energy will be here to do a presentation on the latest solar hot water systems and how they may be an ideal fit with PACE loans.

Also a couple of other related items:

1. I am working on getting on an upcoming Selectmen’s agenda to discuss getting PACE on the May ballot. More details to follow.

2. Our annual meeting will be next month – January 11th.
At that point we will present an annual report and elect officers for a one-year term. The following positions are open.

Vice Chairman
Business Liason

I am planning on running for another term – my 6th! – but all are encouraged to step in and serve if they feel called.

3. On February 8th, the KEYS area energy committees will meet again. This time at Frisbee in Kittery. It will be a potluck dinner. More details will follow.

Ok that’s all folks. Hope to see you there!
