Energy Efficiency Revolving Loan Fund and Coordinator RFP

The Seacoast Energy Initiative (SEI) is a newly formed association of towns and non- profit agencies assembled to implement a program of energy conservation and efficiency in a six town region of southern Maine (including the towns of Kittery, Eliot, South Berwick, York, Ogunquit and North Berwick).  The group has received a $500,000 grant from Efficiency Maine to develop and implement a Revolving Loan Fund, a community outreach/marketing effort and an educational campaign to reduce the region’s carbon footprint and reduce energy costs for individual homeowners through an ambitious effort of energy retrofit projects on homes within the region.  This is a novel program, as it is a community based approach to dealing with energy efficiency on a sub-regional level.  The group is seeking a Coordinator (either an individual or organization) to work with a six person Steering Committee to help guide the effort. This person/firm will report to the Steering Committee and will be under contract to the Southern Maine Regional Planning Commission.
