YEEC monthly meeting on Mar. 13

Greetings Everyone,

Our next meeting will be this Tuesday at 7pm in the upstairs conference room at the library.
On the agenda:

1. Wayne Boardman has been serving double duty as the interim chair of the town energy steering committee.  That group has been very busy recently, and he’ll give some updates on the latest developments in town energy policy.

2. Sarah Patch from the Village Elementary Parents Group will join us to discuss the newly formed school “Green Team”.  They have a lot of great ideas and enthusiasm, and the focus of our discussion will be on how we may be able to help.

3. Last month, a number of us went down to Phillips Exeter to see legendary physicist, Amory Lovins give a fascinating slide show entitled, “Reinventing Fire”.  I bought a copy of his book by the same name, and will share a few highlights that jumped out at me.  I really recommend reading it for anyone interested in green energy.

That’s all for now – I hope to see you there!
